Visual studies from
the Undercity.
These are official site concept pieces. They establish atmosphere and character direction, but none is presented as the final book cover.
About the artwork Visual development
Three views into
one setting.
The Sector 7 study focuses on the environment. The Zara study gives the central character a visual treatment. The Energy Core study turns attention to the infrastructure at the center of the city’s instability.
Together, they offer an introduction to the site’s visual atmosphere. They are concept studies, not illustrations of every detail in a finished manuscript.
How to read these images
A visual detail in a concept image should not be treated as a new fact about the story. The written project descriptions provide the context; the artwork explores its presentation.
Use “Open artwork” beneath each image to view it on its own. No image here is labeled as the final cover or as evidence of an announced publication edition.
