A body becoming
a battleground.
Zara has survived the city. Now she has to survive what the city made her.
Undercity Sector 7 exists beneath the Sky-Fortresses and beneath concern. Its people breathe ash, live by failing infrastructure, and learn early that the Authority’s protection usually arrives shaped like control.
Zara’s electrokinesis once meant an edge. As it mutates into Phantom Charge Syndrome, it becomes evidence, leverage, and a threat to anyone standing too close. When the Energy Core destabilizes, she is pulled between the Flame rebellion, Authority suppression forces, other Charged survivors, and the buried machinery behind Project Prometheus and the Awakening.
Every side wants her power. Zara has to decide whether survival means choosing one of them or becoming something none of them can control.

Abilities, weapons, technology, and loyalties all produce consequences. The worldbuilding is pressure, not decoration.
The Energy Core
A failing system that powers the city and turns infrastructure into a countdown no one can safely ignore.
The Authority
Surveillance, suppression technology, and institutional order built around deciding which bodies count as threats.
The Flame
Resistance with real stakes, divided loyalties, and no guarantee that rebellion leaves anyone clean.
