J. N. Scott writes dark speculative fiction centered on survival, power, and the choices people make under pressure.

The stories live where technology, psychology, power, desire, trauma, and survival grind against one another. They are interested in people shaped by broken systems without reducing those people to what hurt them.

The voice is intimate because distance can become another kind of lie. The worlds are brutal because consequences matter. The wonder remains because survival without transformation is only endurance.
